In April we were joined by Kat Phillips and Simon Clark, who provided fascinating insight into the world of social media and engaging varied audiences online.
Simon Clark is a UK-based science communicator with a physics master’s degree from Oxford and a PhD in atmospheric physics from Exeter. He runs a YouTube channel with 700,000+ subscribers, focusing on the climate crisis. His book Firmament was named a Waterstones Science Book of the Year in 2022.
Kat Phillips (She/They) is an Innovation Research Associate, maths communicator and livestreamer. She also runs online events focused on breaking down knowledge barriers to academia.
