March 2025 – Discussion with professors of public understanding of maths and science

We're very pleased to have a great panel for our next monthly zoom meeting:

• Kevin Houston, Professor of Mathematics Education and Public Engagement, Leeds
• Marcus du Sautoy, Simonyi Professor of the Public Understanding of Science, Oxford
• Steven Strogatz, Susan and Barton Winokur Distinguished Professor for the Public Understanding of Science and Mathematics at Cornell

We're really looking forward to hearing more from them about their approach to their roles and the work they do.  We hope this will feed into discussion as a wider network about how to embed comms and public engagement into the maths community.
